I am so excited to announce that I was nominated for the Liebster Award by Itsshazia. This nomination means a lot to me since I’ve only been blogging for about a week! I am now super motivated to continue blogging as a beauty and lifestyle blogger or “scrapbooker” in my opnion. I hope my readers enjoy my informal writing style, my quirky post titles and my inspiration photos.

This award is for bloggers with under 200 followers however there is apparently a loophole and it can be used to nominate people with under 2000 followers so yay more people to nominate! This allows more networking in the blogging community.

The Rules:
You must link back to the person who nominated you
You must answer the 11 questions given to you by the nominee before you
You must pick 11 nominees with under 200 followers  to answer your questions
You cannot nominate the person who nominated you
You must let the people you nominate know they have been nominated
* (2000 followers loophole as mentioned before)
I nominate:

My questions for the bloggers:
1. What are your passions other than beauty, fashion, lifestyle blogging?
2. Where you a nerd or the cool kid?
3. If you were to live in one place for the rest of your life, where would it be?
4. If you were an animal, what would you be?
5. What is your favourite type of food?
6. What is your current job? Do you enjoy it?
7. What is sexiest in a man, looks, brains or ability to make you laugh?
8. Are you a neat freak, a slob, or somewhere in the middle?
9. Would you ask a guy out on a date?
10. Would you rather wear dresses or pants for the rest of your life?
11. Would you rather have free beauty products  or free clothes for the rest of your life?
For Itsshazia questions for me:
1. What is the craziest thing you have ever done?
I thought about this question really hard… but I don’t think I’m a crazy type! Even when I’m drunk, I have enough of a concious to not rip my clothes off and run down the streets naked. I’m sorry! I guess I’m pretty sane.

2. Why do you blog? What is your main inspiration?
I blog because I want an outlet to show what is on my mind. I am in love with makeup, beauty and anything girly related. I am a little too camera shy to post videos on Youtube, as I find myself being incredibly stiff in front of the camera! Therefore I started  this blog instead.

3. What superpower would you want and why?
This question is one of the easiest questions, most of the people close have heard me talk about this superpower. I would LOVE to have the power to teleport. I mean won’t it be fabulous if you could go to Japan for lunch and then Paris for dinner with a snap of your fingers? I could teleport to anywhere I want to go shopping. Life would be amazing.

4. Are you superstitious? If so, what is the superstition you believe in?
I don’t think I am that superstitious, I don’t mind if I break a mirror, walk under a ladder or see a black cat cross my path. I am normally not too afraid of ghosts or the supernatural as I try to surround myself with happy, positive things. I use be a huge fan of horror movies. The thrill of watching them use to be so exhilarating, but the aftermath was never worth it. I remember the nights after I watch a scary movie, I would be afraid to close my eyes during my shower, afraid to open my closet door at night, and every creek my floor made would make the hairs on my arm stand up!

5. Are you a coffee or tea person?
I am the ultimate tea person! Everyone around me knows that everyday I buy a cup of tea at Tim Hortons at school. Depending on my mood I get different teas. On days I want something with a good kick of caffine I would buy myself an Earl Grey. Chai teas are great for when I am freezing after walking to school. Lastly, my new obsession as a health tea is a original green tea with another bag of peppermint. The combination is great for digestion, antioxidants and great for the immune system!

6. What is one of your new years resolution?
One of my new years resolution is to try and exercise more! Many people around me will be all ” omg you don’t need to lose weight!” But I want to exercise more to try and become healthier on the inside. Yes, I am very blessed to have good genetics and a fast metabolism where I can eat a lot of foods. However, this has lead me to love the foods that are least healthy for me. I am a sucker for fries, fried chicken, pizza… you get the picture. So I want to be healthier internally, so I don’t die from a heart attack prematurely!

7. If you can only eat one meal all your life, what would it be?
Like a typical Asian girl, I would have to choose Japanese food with sushi. It is the best balance of healthy and delicious. All the colourful vegetables, fresh fish and grilled meats, I don’t think I can ever get bored of it.

8. If you could be born in a different time period, when would it be?
I am pretty content with the time period we are living in now. I can’t imagine a life without electricity and all the modern advancements we have now. Can you imagine not having a car? No Wifi, laptop, or cellphones? Many of my friends in Toronto lost power during the week of Christmas holidays, and you tend to realize how dependent we have become with those luxuries. I don’t think I can live in another time period without it.

9. What is one place you are absolutely looking forward to traveling to?
I am super excited in travelling in general after I graduate and make my own money. I am not blessed with a lot of excess money throughout my teenage years, therefore I have not travelled out of Canada in the past 10 years or so. I know that when I grow up and have a stable job, I do want to see the world. I dream that one day I would have the opportunity to travel to Europe, especially countries like France, Italy and Greece as I am fascinated with their amazing architecture and would love to taste their cuisine.
10. What is one thing you would like to try in 2014 that you have never done before?
This may be a boring answer, but I would like to try and keep up with blogging. I love to see the possibilities  of what this blog can blossom into, but I know I sometimes give up on things before I give it a fair chance.
11. If you can go back to being 13, what is one advice you would give yourself?
Honestly, I don’t know what advice I would give myself. I think this is become I was a pretty mature 13 year old. I was raised by mostly my Mom who was always there to give the best advice. My family was starting to have a lot of financial difficulties when I was 13, which influenced me to start working when I was 14. Having a low paying part time job at such a young age to help my family made me strive to do well in school. I knew that if I worked hard in school and went to a good university, I could be able to one day support my family. It’s kind of crazy because I only just turned 20 years old, but I feel like I have already gone through so much in life.

Once again thank you Itsshazia for the nomination!
